Listen as Jon David Bruegal brings forth his vision for a proactive County Commissioner in an interview with Tom and Laura. Among other areas, “Bruegel says that, although he is younger than many politicians, he has the experience necessary to fill the position. He has worked with the state legislature under Scott Turner, ‘doing the long hours, making the tough decisions.’ Bruegel has also gained business experience by working with Action Doors. Lubbock Business Owner Running for County Commissioner

A Lubbock native and small business owner is running for Lubbock County Commissioner Precinct 2. Jon David Bruegel, former president of the Lubbock County Young Republicans and a long-time conservative advocate was campaigning at Market Street on 50th and Indiana Saturday morning. Bruegel, who announced his candidacy in July, said he wants to host more townhall meetings within the district, and encourage citizen involvement in our county government. Precinct 2 Lubbock County commissioner candidates hit campaign trail

Candidates for Lubbock County Commissioner Precinct 2 are hitting the campaign trail ahead of the March 2014 primary. Commissioner Mark Heinrich, a Republican, will announce Thursday, Oct. 24, he’s running for a third term in the southeast Lubbock County precinct while his primary election opponent, Jon David Bruegel, will host his first campaign block walking event more than three months after announcing his candidacy in July. Bruegel, 21, said he’s already started campaigning door-to-door and has yet to hear a disparaging word about his youth.“They’re all open to a younger candidate with some different ideas,” he said.Continue reading
